Question Running a New Character Start to Finish

I'm new to the forums and hope this is the appropriate place to post this thread.

I've recently been experimenting on the fastest and best way to run (rush) a newly created character through the game. My experiments show that after entering the Academy and arriving at Ascalon City, you can run to The Breach. From there you go to Diessa Lowlands (stopping at Piken Square would be a good idea). After arriving at the south-eastern part of Diessa Lowlands, you go to Nolani Academy to the west.

So, its Ascalon City>The Breach>Diessa Lowlands>Nolani Academy. I'm an E/Me and with my primary chaacter I hired a level 20 monk and a level 20 warrior (both from Droknar's Forge). The three of us got to Nolani Academy in about 30 minutes. Would this be faster than doing the first three missions? (The Great Northern Wall, Fort Ranik, and Ruins of Surmia.)

While in Diessa Lowlands, the warrior died twice, and the monk could not keep up (of course). Our main problem was at the end there were a lot of foes that slowed him down.

So my first question is: What is the best two (and no more) to take to run from Ascalon City to Nolani, and what skills would they use?

After much talk and debate, I concluded that doing the Nolani Academy mission would be both more wise and faster than to run from Nolani Academy to Yak's Bend. Then you would do the missions from Yak's Bend until Beacon's Perch. From there you could hire a group of have your guild members to run to Droknar's Forge so you may acquire better armor for your new character early in the game.

My second question being would the way I explained doing the missions from Yak's Bend until Beacon's Perch and then running to Droknar's Forge be the best solution? I've seen a level 10 in Droknar's Forge!

After acquiring the Droknar's Forge armor I belive the best way to go from there would be do the missions in Kryta until The Wilds and run to Riverside Province. Can you run straight to Sanctum Cay or would doing the Riverside Province mission be more efficient?

Basically what I'm trying to do is build a set of characters (four per account for each guild member) to build a stable team for player-vs-player (PvP) and guild-vs-guild (GvG) battles. Our main goal is to hold the Hall of Heros at least once.

If anyone has any ideas on the best solution to doing this, or just to see how quickly you can acquire the Droknar's Forge armor and ascend, and the best combination of runners and how many you should bring for each run, please share it! You can also personal message (PM) me if you like, albeit on the forums or in game. (Actually, in the game we all know its Whisper, not PM!) My first character is Beloved Meldon, but I'm working on a different to be the main one on the account: Meldri Tolkia.

Thank you all in advance!

You can skip all Kryta and jungle missions if you run from the Gates of Kryta to the Temple of the Ages and then down to Sanctum Cay.

Eh, I have seen lvl 7s in droknars.. most missions take 30 minutes to an hour or longer. So just add it up to yourself, if its going to take you longer to run from your mission area to where you want to be than it is doing the mission, do it. And generally, the best runners are lvl 20 rangers in my experience. Throw up some whirling defense and all that junk with storm chaser, and they are nigh unhittable. A warrior with charge, sprint and balanced stance is also a good runner. Or for that matter, a ranger/warrior with charge, sprint, storm chaser, balanced stance might do even better >.>;

I didn't know you could do that. The first time I visited the Temple of the Ages we went through several areas just to go all the way back around to get there. What is the best path to take in getting to the Temple of the Ages from the Gates of Kryta? Thanks for the information!

Best path from gates to ToA is: through scoundrels rise into north kryta, then from there to nebo terrace, once in nebo terrace head to cursed lands, from there to black curtain and from there to ToA.

For a map of all the areas, check out: http://www.promisance.biz/guildwars/GWMapMiniKryta.jpg

Nikki comes up with a new char build: The Running Ranger!

And with all the running ppl do, it's a good idea.
